Synopsis

Buku Islam dalam Kuasa Algoritma: Otoritas Keagamaan dan Produksi Pengetahuan di Era Platform Digital membahas transformasi otoritas dan produksi pengetahuan Islam di tengah perkembangan teknologi digital dan media sosial. Buku ini menjelaskan bagaimana algoritma, platform digital, dan budaya jaringan telah mengubah cara pengetahuan keagamaan diproduksi, disebarkan, serta dilegitimasi dalam masyarakat Muslim kontemporer. Dengan memadukan teori Networked Religious Authority, Algorithmic Society, dan Power-Knowledge, buku ini menawarkan kerangka metodologis baru bernama Platform-Based Islamic Knowledge untuk memahami Islam sebagai realitas digital yang kompleks. Selain mengkaji perubahan struktur otoritas keagamaan dari model hierarkis menuju sistem jaringan digital, buku ini juga menyoroti peran algoritma dalam membentuk visibilitas, popularitas, dan legitimasi diskursus keagamaan di media sosial. Kehadiran buku ini diharapkan dapat menjadi kontribusi penting bagi pengembangan studi Islam digital, khususnya dalam memahami hubungan antara agama, teknologi, dan perubahan sosial di era platform digital.
