Synopsis

Model supervisi akademik yang dikembangkan ini adalah  model C3ME (Class Visists, Coaching, Commitment, Monitoring, Evaluasi), bertujuan untuk mengefektifkan pelaksanaan supervisi akademik dalam meningkatkan profesional guru PAK sehingga mereka berkinerja baik. Bidang study PAK merupakan bidang study yang wajib diajarkan di sekolah. Sebagai bangsa yang religius yang peradabannya didasarkan pada ajaran agama, masyarakat Indonesia memandang pendidikan agama sebagai filosofi negara dan ekspresi budaya dan ciri-ciri kepribadiannya. Hal ini telah dirumuskan dalam Pancasila, "KeTuhanan Yang Maha Esa." akhirnya menjadikan pendidikan agama sebagai hal yang wajib, berdasarkan hal tersebut maka untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran PAK perlu adanya supervisi yang teratur dan dilakukan secara berkala, serta pengembangan model supervisi akademik sebagai cara untuk mempermudah supervisor secara efektif pada penyelenggaraannya.

Pengembangan model supervisi akademik C3ME adalah didasarkan atas permasalahan dalam pembelajaran PAK. Permasalahan tersebut dapat diatasi melalui keprofesionalan supervisor dalam menjalankan tugas supervisinya. Pengembangan model supervisi akademik C3ME dilakukan atas dasar Firman Tuhan  dalam  (1 Korintus 3:11) yaitu “Karena tidak ada seorangpun yang dapat  meletakkan dasar lain dari pada dasar yang telah diletakkan, yaitu Yesus Kristus”. Artinya bahwa setiap bangunan membutuhkan dasar atau fondasi yang kuat. Jika melakukan semua pekerjaan atas dasar kasih Kristus, apapun profesi atau pekerjaan akan menjadi berkat bagi orang lain, di tempat dimana seseorang bekerja.
