Synopsis

Buku ini mengungkapkan bahwa model pembelajaran bahasa Arab berbasis religiusitas warga belajar dan prinsip sharaf serap nalar ibadah serta pendekatan komunikatif dan andragogi layak digunakan dan efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta dan berdaya guna untuk memahami perbendaharaan kata bahasa Arab Qurani dalam berbagai bentuk kata (sharfi) dan struktur kalimat (nahwi) dan mampu menggunakannya dalam rangka memahami Al-Quran, hadits, doa, dan kitab-kitab agama berbahasa Arab terkait ajaran Islam sehingga lebih khusuk dalam beribadah, disertai pembelajaran yang menyenangkan.
Buku ini menindaklanjuti perdebatan konsep pembelajaran bahasa Arab untuk tujuan khusus (Arabic for a Specific Purposes) bagi orang dewasa perspektif teori Dudley-Evans dan St. John (1998) dan teori andragogi Malcolm Shepherd Knowles (1970). Juga mengkritisi teori Gardner (1972) tentang dominasi motivasi integratif atas motivasi instrumental peserta didik dalam pembelajaran dan pemerolehan bahasa asing. Kebaruan (novelty) penelitian ini terletak pada produk hasil pengembangan Bahasa Arab Qurani berupa kurikulum, silabus, dan rencana pembelajaran, buku ajar dan buku pedoman guru serta desain pendekatan, model, metode, dan sintaks pembelajaran BAQ sebagai pengembangan dari program Bahasa Arab Qurani Yayasan Bina Masyarakat Qurani Jakarta yang memiliki karakteristik berbasis kebutuhan religiusitas warga belajar, pendekatan sharfi dan komunikatif, dan sintaks pembelajaran sesuai prinsip andragogi.
